As Geisha Girls do Pinto

These photographs are not so common, but when found is usually seen as either a Meiji-era albumen print or later postcard image. However, here is a richly-done "Salt Print" version from 110 to 120 years ago - a rare series of ca.1880s-90s full-plate images printed by sunlight on simple "salted paper", and hand-tinted with transparent water colors
